Human-killing wild elephant captured (Photos)

Wildlife officials have captured a 9-foot tusker that had recently killed a woman in Kivula, Kottukachchiya.

The tusker was captured in Simentigama, Kalladiya.

The tusker will be relocated to Yala National Park tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the wild elephant that fled during a raid at Keppetipola in Kurunegala is now roaming in Ratthati Uyana in Barandana, Mawathagama.

Wildlife officials stated that they are continuing the operation in collaboration with the STF to chase the elephant from the area.
